Picked Last at Recess: The Al Gore Story
There he is - little 10 year old Albert Gore. Not very athletic, socially awkward, constantly teased. Kids huddle together on the blacktop during their 20 minutes of freedom to pick teams for football. First goes the kid held back two years, then goes the manchild; each kid finds a team until there is only one - Al Gore. A game of odds and evens is the only solution.
Obviously, I am joking; I’m sure Al Gore was great at sports…. but does his actions not make him seem as someone desperately trying to appear relevant. Proceeding his deplorable run for President (how could he not win after being VP to the old Messiah?) Al never went away. With his revolutionary invention, the “Lock Box”, and constant reminders of winning the popular vote, he thrust his body in front of every camera possible. It didn’t matter to most since he was hilariously goofy and harmless.
The joke is over! Al Gore catapulted a trend that has led to what could be the cataclysmic end to American prosperity. His movie, An Inconvenient Truth, and drastic warnings of apocalyptic ramifications for ‘careless’ human behavior has caused mass hysteria among the uneducated. Now he compares 2009 to Gettysburg. According to him the debate is over, and if we don’t curb our CO2 output, chaos will reign resulting in horrid destruction.
Well Al, the debate is not over. There are currently over 700 scientists against the man-made global warming claim. Tons of online videos circle the net debunking the myth as well, here’s one. Within past months we discovered 500,000 sq km of uncalculated arctic sea ice. Scientists also discovered Antarctic ice is growing, not shrinking (I linked to the article in my previous post).
In an article by the founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman, Gore’s mentor is spoken of - Roger Revelle. Revelle taught Gore at Harvard and is described as the genius behind man-made global warming. Coleman states the “bedrock” papers of global warming consists of failed connections and faulty proofs. Most important, Coleman tells of Revelle’s reconsideration in the 80’s and 90’s. Revelle rethought and stated curbing of CO2 could result in devastating effects and urged more research before any steps taken. Al Gore stopped the debate in 1992.
Have you noticed it has been rather chilly the past few years? That’s because we’ve been on a cooling trend! Ever wonder why so many businesses outsource? It’s because of insane regulations and taxes! A Cap-and-Trade will demolish what is left of Capitalism and we can all thank Al Gore. Somewhere Karl Marx is celebrating… Urge your senators and representatives to knock Cap-and-Trade and anything like it down and educate your friends. The sun is a powerful thing, if there is global warming, we can’t control it.
